These are simply the very best silicone scrapers around. I'm sure there are other brands that perform equally well, but they either have wooden or red/brown handles, so for aesthetics, I like the clean look of the pampered chef ones - they're practically indestructible. They're not cheap, but they'll last for years and years.What's so great about them? The heads are fused to the handles, so there's no risk of yucky bits getting trapped in there and they'll never fall apart (keeps water from getting trapped inside too - ick), they're impervious to stains (even tomato sauce), they're heat resistant up to 450F, and they're dishwasher safe (the ultimate test of kitchen friendliness as far as I'm concerned).
