I love this... the cat is inside the screen door, and the moth is outside. She playfully pawed at it for a few minutes, smelled it once or twice, then she laid down and took a nap :).

Mr. Cardinal enjoying the morning sun. I've been trying to get a picture of him for the longest time, but he never stays still long enough for me to grab my camera!

Mr. and Mrs. Goldfinch enjoying breakfast together.

Mr. Squirrel out for lunch.

Momma Robin feeding the kiddos dinner.

Mr. and Mrs. Deer are out for dinner too. Can't believe they let me get so close - their dinner must have been really good.

Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird enjoying the neighborhood.

I couldn't get my camera to focus on the Mr. and Mrs. Horse, so I decided to take the shot as is. In the end, I really like the way it turned out.

Yet another breathtaking sky - I hope you enjoyed visiting today.

I love the pictures Patricia, thank you so much for sharing with us. Those are the kind of neighbors I like, do you get to see them everyday?
ReplyDeleteYou live in the most beautiful area. Some of those shots are just fantastic too. The Robin shot is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura. I couldn't believe it when I spied that robin's nest. The photo was taken right through my fiend's living room window. I was practically having a heart attack from the excitement, but she's used to them... said it was the 2nd brood of chicks this year.
ReplyDeleteI like all you neighbors, I would like to meet the one day, Maria Berg
ReplyDeleteLovely and interesting photos. You're living in a very pleasant neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great neighborhood. Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteI hope you will join me for Crock Pot Wednesdays beginning in August. I'd love to see more of your great photos as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing pictures you took. I love your kitty, how cute.
ReplyDeleteYou know, you did get close to your deer but it is probably because they have gotten used to you. I used to walk out on my porch and I could talk to the deer and they wouldn't run.
Beautiful creatures in your photos... that kitty is soooo pretty... makes me want one!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!! We have deer too. They sure are cute... right up until they start eating all of the flowers I spent so much money and time on.
ReplyDeleteOur deer have gotten so brave they have come up onto my porch steps to eat my Geraniums.
Wow, what great pictures. You really got some great captures there. I love all of them but especially the kitty and the moth.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your photos are beautiful. My faves are the playing cat and the fence with the unfocused horses, so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteWhat part of the country are you in where you can own such pretty land? We have the same birds here. I'm in Charlotte NC but we are seriously considering moving out to the country somewhere in the South. Have a great week!
Wonderful photos - I love the one of Mr and Mrs Horse as through the mist. So pretty.
