Autumn in Viginia

ButterYum Autumn in VirginiaWelcome to Autumn in my little part of Virginia. I spotted this sight one evening as I walked past my front door. The setting sun did something magical to the trees that night.
(ignore the two dead trees in the foreground... hubby refuses to cut them down because they each have a green leaf or two.... sigh).

ButterYum Autumn in VirginiaAn early morning shot down the street at a quaint little pond - I loved the way the steam was rising from the surface of the water.

ButterYum Autumn in VirginiaThe sun was highlighting this fern growing in the woods - just begging me to take a picture.

ButterYum Autumn in VirginiaVines grow on the trees all over the place around here - they're the very first thing to turn red in the fall.
