Tiny Gingerbread Cake Houses - Redux

Nordic Ware Snowy Village Cakelet Pan - ButterYum
Remember these cute little gingerbread cake houses from last year?  They were so much fun to make.  I was hoping to be able to find time to remake them before Christmas (and get some better photos), but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.  At any rate, the pan is the Snowy Village Cakelet Pan (available only through Williams-Sonoma), and they happen to be on sale for 50% Off at the moment.  I don't get anything from WS for sharing this info, but I had to tell you about the great discount.  I know there were a lot of people who couldn't get it last year because it was so popular.

Here's wishing you all a Merry and Blessed Christmas.

  9. Your gingerbread houses are so cute! If I hadn't just bought the NordicWare wreath pan (at Michaels for $15) I would probably go get this one.

  10. These are gorgeous. I much prefer cake to gingerbread BISCUIT. Those nordic ware pans continue to impress, hey?

  11. Very cute! Those would work much better than the not-so-stable gingerbread house my daughter and I put together this past weekend. I am going to have to look for some of those at Williams-Sonoma this afternoon! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  14. These are absolutely darling and I bet that pan went quickly. I have a WS really close to home and I would love these, thanks for the info! I love it when friends share tips and tidbits. I was just commenting to my husband last night what an amazing world most of blogland is, women sharing FREELY!! They aren't asking for money for their information, they aren't getting paid, they are just sharing, isn't that what Christmas is all about, giving freely, yet these women do it year round. I love it. Merry Christmas to you too dear.

  16. Oooh, I've been coveting that pan--thanks for the tip about the sale. After visiting one store and calling 4 others (there are only 6 W-S stores within 30 miles of me), I found one in stock and hopefully they are holding it for me. I'm thinking I'll make chocolate gingerbread houses for Christmas night...

  18. W-S do some fab stuff. It's just a shame they only ship inside the USA. Whenever I'm after anything, I have to resort to over inflated ebay prices - often 50% or more than the W-S price.

Oh well - next time I get a chance to visit USA, my luggage will come back empty of clothes and full of baking stuff !

Ahh that would be a dreamy breakfast.
