| Strawberry Lemonade - ButterYum |
It's a scorcher here today - Ugh, the outside temp is supposed to reach close to 100F. Time for a refreshing summer drink. This easy recipe takes advantage of the single serving packets of lemonade mix that are designed to add to your water bottle. Simply blitz everything together in your blender and serve over ice, or blend with ice for a slushy alternative.
Strawberry Lemonade
serves 2
2 cups diet or regular Sierra Mist soda (or any lemon/lime soda)
2/3 cup water
2 1/2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries (200 grams)
1 packet lemonade mix (the ones you add to a 16.9 ounce bottle of water)
Combine ingredients in a blender and liquefy. Serve over ice if desired. For a slushy consistency, add ice while blending. Note: I used 4C Lemonade Mix (zero calories).
Calorie Count:
Made with diet soda: 35
Made with regular soda: 135

Now that looks as refreshing as it gets! Love the rouge blush colour and your blog;-)
