Snap Thursday

Welcome to Snap Thursday hosted by my friend Jenn.

Chicken at Gas Station - ButterYum
Now that I've lived out in the country for a few years, I'm no longer surprised when I stumble upon animals roaming in places where they shouldn't be.  Cows in the neighborhood, bears in the driveway, horses in the front yard.... so it was no surprise when I spied this chicken at the gas station the other day.

Virginia's Autumn Red Vines - ButterYum
I love this time of year when the vines turn bright red.  Aren't they lovely?

  1. I want that chicken! What a fun head dress. The vines are gorgeous but they look like poison something-or-another so I'll admire them from here. Have a great day!

  16. We saw a his brother at Farm on the grounds of the Biltmore Estates in Asheville a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time I've seen a chicken that looked so regal and dressed up.

We get bears, deer, foxes, turkeys, where we live too. Never seen them at the gas station though.
